Inside the Oasis x Adidas Pop-Up in Tokyo: A Pre-Concert Pilgrimage to Shibuya’s MIYASHITA PARK

An Anthem in the Heart of the City: Prologue to the Oasis Adidas Pop Up Tokyo

September 2025, and a hint of autumn was in the Tokyo air. I was walking through Shibuya, my usual routine of absorbing the city’s pulse, when a sight stopped me in my tracks. It was the Adidas store at MIYASHITA PARK, but it wore an entirely different face today. It had transformed into something of a musical sanctuary.

Covering the entire glass facade were immense monochrome visuals of the Gallagher brothers, the iconic heart of the legendary rock band Oasis. This was it. Ahead of their historic concert at the Tokyo Dome in late October, the “adidas Originals x Oasis Live ‘25 Collection” pop-up had landed in Shibuya. This collaboration was a celebration of the enduring legacy shared between the brand and the band.

As CityNomix, the voice of Photomo, and as a lifelong music fan, I felt an irresistible pull. It was 5 PM, with the evening light casting a golden glow over the city. I found myself instinctively drawn towards the entrance. In this article, I’ll share everything I experienced inside—with all the passion and sincerity I can muster. Whether you plan to visit or are just following along from afar, I invite you to share this moment with me.

Into the Epicenter of a Britpop Revival: The Full Oasis Adidas Pop Up Tokyo Review

Located at the intersection of MIYASHITA PARK’s open, airy design and Shibuya’s raw street culture, this pop-up is more than a store; it’s an experience. Let’s walk through the details together, retracing my steps into this haven of music and fashion.

A View from the Footbridge: When Music Hijacks the Urban Landscape

Before entering, I made a point to view the scene from a nearby footbridge. The sight was absolutely spectacular. Giant photographs of Noel playing guitar and Liam singing had completely taken over the cityscape, a bold declaration of their return. Passersby paused, their phones raised to capture the moment. This scene alone spoke volumes about the cultural power Oasis still commands. I highly recommend taking in this view before you go inside.

A Blue Logo Glowing at Dusk: The Meeting of Adidas and Oasis

Standing before the store, the sheer scale of the visuals is breathtaking. As dusk settled, the sight of the Adidas trefoil logo alongside the classic Oasis logo was a powerful reminder of their intertwined history, stretching back to the ’90s Britpop movement. This felt less like a simple collaboration and more like the inevitable reunion of two cultural titans.

Stepping inside, the first thing that hits you is the sound: Oasis’s music, playing at a volume that mimics the electric anticipation of a live show. It felt as if the countdown to the Tokyo Dome gig had already begun right here. This immersive audio was a brilliant touch, instantly pulling every visitor into their world.

A Closer Look at the Oasis Adidas Pop Up Tokyo Exhibition and Merch

With my excitement building, I began to explore the interior. The space was curated like a museum, dedicated not just to selling products, but to telling the story of the band’s history with Adidas. Here’s a detailed report on the most impressive displays and merchandise.

The Exhibition Report: A Treasure Trove for Fans

The first thing that greets you is a giant silver sphere, a symbol of the ‘Live ’25’ collaboration. Suspended from the ceiling, this futuristic installation features the event’s signature logo, with the new collection neatly arranged below. It sets a tone of modern significance for this reunion.

Further in, mannequins are styled in key pieces from the collection, exuding an effortless cool. The central mannequin, channeling Liam Gallagher with sunglasses and headphones, is a masterstroke of styling. It’s a snapshot of ‘Cool Britannia’ resurrected in modern-day Shibuya.

For die-hard fans, the archival exhibits are the main event. A glass case displays a green, M-65-style military jacket, said to have been worn by Liam on stage. A photo of him in his element, singing passionately while wearing it, is placed right beside it, radiating raw energy.

Another case holds a pair of Liam’s previous collaboration sneakers, the LG II SPZL, alongside a vintage black-and-white photo of the young Gallagher brothers and Japanese music magazines featuring Noel on the cover. These artifacts are not just memorabilia; they are chapters of their history.

Sneakers from Liam Gallagher’s past collaboration with Adidas were also on display.

There was also a display featuring one of Noel’s Epiphone guitars next to a pair of vintage Adidas sneakers, symbolizing the deep-rooted connection between the music and fashion of that era, and their place at its very center.

The campaign’s key visual, emblazoned with the words ‘THE ORIGINAL FOREVER,’ powerfully captures the pop-up’s theme. It features Noel in Adidas, guitar in hand, juxtaposed with an image of an ecstatic concert crowd. It’s a moving tribute to the timeless relationship between the brand and the music culture it helps define.

The Merch Report: What’s in Stock?

Now, for the goods. The store was well-stocked with collaboration jerseys and t-shirts. The iconic three-stripe tees were available in several colorways and were a popular choice among shoppers. When I visited on a weekday evening, there seemed to be plenty of inventory available.

Full disclosure: As a prepared fan, I had already ordered the main items from this collection through the Adidas Confirmed app and the Noel Gallagher Mobile fan club. My mission today was to hunt for any in-store exclusives, which I didn’t find. Nevertheless, seeing the items in person and feeling the quality was a valuable experience. There’s a certain joy in the ritual of choosing your gear for an upcoming concert.

A Quick Guide on Sizing for the Oasis x Adidas Collection

For those planning to buy online, sizing is always the biggest question. Based on my observation, the collection seems to have a slightly relaxed fit compared to standard Adidas Originals apparel, especially the track jackets. This is perfect for capturing that authentic ’90s silhouette. The t-shirts, however, appeared to be a more standard fit. If you have the chance, I strongly recommend trying them on in-store to find your perfect size.

Practical Info for Your Visit to the Oasis Adidas Pop Up Tokyo

To help you make the most of your visit, I’ve compiled some practical information based on my experience. Consider these tips from one fan to another.

Crowds, Location, and the Best Times to Visit

I visited on a Friday evening around 5 PM. The store was buzzing with after-work shoppers but wasn’t overwhelmingly crowded. I could still appreciate the exhibits and browse the merchandise comfortably. However, expect crowds to swell on weekends and as the concert date approaches. You might even encounter a queue to get in during peak hours. For a more relaxed experience, I’d suggest visiting on a weekday morning or right after the store opens.

The pop-up is located at the Adidas Brand Center within RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK, making it easily accessible from Shibuya Station.

Location: Adidas Brand Center RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK
Address: MIYASHITA PARK South 1F/2F, 6-20-10 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo

Please check the official Adidas website for the pop-up’s duration, as these events are typically for a limited time.

Don’t Miss Out: The Official “Oasis Live ‘25 Tokyo Fan Store”

Here’s another crucial piece of information I gathered: a separate, official “Oasis Live ‘25 Tokyo Fan Store” is set to open on Saturday, October 11th, also at MIYASHITA PARK. This will likely focus more on concert-specific merchandise. It’s an exciting double-header for fans in Tokyo. I’ll certainly be back for its opening and will report my findings on Photomo.

Final Thoughts on the Oasis Adidas Pop Up Tokyo Experience

The Oasis x Adidas pop-up store was far more than a retail space. It was a pilgrimage site, a place to reconnect with the cultural impact of a generation-defining band and amplify the excitement for their upcoming shows. The music, the visuals, the archival treasures—every element spoke directly to our memories and senses.

While I didn’t purchase any new merchandise, I left with something much more valuable: a shared sense of anticipation with fellow fans and a deeper appreciation for the story woven between a brand and its artists. As the creator of Photomo, a journal about walking, shooting, and writing, I couldn’t have asked for a more inspiring experience. I urge you to visit this miraculous intersection of music and fashion in the heart of Shibuya and feel it for yourself.
